Kentuckians who received overpayments in unemployment benefits last year may apply for a waiver to keep from paying back the money to the state.
According to the Kentucky Office of Unemployment Insurance, around 14,000 notices were mailed out to claimants detailing the amount of over payment.
The notices also direct the claimants to apply for the waiver by filling out an enclosed form or submitting the application online.
