Lady Hillbillies fall on the road at Tolsia

FORT GAY Class A No. 8 Tolsia rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to defeat Man 61-54 Thursday night at Tolsia High School.


The Lady Rebels led 16-14 after one quarter but was outscored by the Lady Hillbillies 17-9 in the second quarter and trailed 31-25 at halftime before rallying to outscore Man 18-5 in the third quarter for their 13th victory of the season.


Kerrigan Salmons had a game-high 32 points to lead Tolsia (13-8) while Emily Artrip finished with 13 and Autumn Block seven.


Tori Honaker, one of three Lady Hillbillies in double figures, scored 19 points on the evening while Kami Anderson and Jenna Baisden each had 13 points for Man (4-12).
