LOGAN Natalie Blankenship scored seven of her 14 points in the second quarter, and Class AAA No. 2 Logan overcame a slow first quarter start to beat Poca 50-25 at the Willie Akers Arena Thursday night.


Logan used a 21-6 second quarter to break a 6-6 first quarter tie. Blankenship finished with 14 points and Halle Crouse added 10 points for the Lady Wildcats.


Autumn Adkins and Addyson Amick each finished with eight points for Logan.


Madison Nehme led Poca with 12 points and Hanna Moore finished with six for the Lady Dots.


Poca (0-5) returns to action Tuesday night at Van.
