LOGAN The Logan Middle School softball team won their second Mid Valley Athletic Conference Championship in four years last week.
The Lady Timberwolves defeated the Winfield Lady Generals with a walk off single by Alara Adkins allowing Shae Conley to score the deciding run for a 5-4 victory
The timberwolves collected 12 hits with Conley and Lexi Gilman earning three hits each. Alara Adkins connected on two hits while Ashlin Brumfield, Myleigh Adkins and Destiny McNeely were credited for a hit each.
Myleigh Adkins got the win in the pitcher's circle for the Timberwolves as she went seven innings and earned 13 strike outs.
The Timberwolves ended the season with 15-1 record. Their only loss was against Winfield earlier in the season.
