LOGAN Logan Middle School teacher was charged Thursday for sending obscene matter to a minor.
A criminal complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court alleged 25-year-old Aaron Grant, of Foster, sent inappropriate messages and photos to a female juvenile using social media platform Snapchat.
According to the complaint, Grant began a conversation with a female juvenile on or about November nineteenth. The complaint alleged the defendant flirted with the minor and sent photos of his genitals over the course of the conversation.
The messages were reported to school resource officers with the Logan County Sheriff’s Department when a separate juvenile showed the pictures to her mother.
Grant has been charged with Distribution and Display to Minor Obscene Matter, a felony.
Grant is a physical education teacher at Logan Middle School and assisted with coaching the school's basketball team, according to police.
