The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 382 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.
As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 4,435 active cases.
A Total of 376 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.
Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 3.65%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Thursday morning, 8 counties are in the “gold” category. “Gold” counties include Boone and Kanawha.
Logan and Mingo counties are orange, the second most restrictive category.
Lincoln, McDowell, Wayne and Wyoming counties are green.
No counties are red.
West Virginia has 17,707 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
