A Logan County man was arrested recently in connection with arson charges.
On Tuesday, police were called to a house fire at 48 Mill Creek Road.
On their way to the scene, police located 27-year-old David Allen King walking along the roadside.
King matched the description witnesses provided of the man who started the fire.
King was arrested and taken to the Sheriff’s Office.
During an interview, he reportedly admitted to flipping a lit cigarette through the window and then setting the curtains on fire with the cigarette lighter after an argument with his girlfriend.
The fire is still under investigation.
