Logan Confirmed 4 New Cases of COVID-19

The Logan County Health Department confirmed four cases of COVID-19 Friday.


As of two o’clock this afternoon, Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed four new cases through laboratory testing.


Browning said some cases attributed to Logan this week belong in other counties. He said the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources are working to correct error on the website’s dashboard. https://dhhr.wv.gov/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx


Logan County has 48 active cases of the virus, 593 recoveries, and 43 fatalities for a cumulative total of 684 cases of coronavirus.


Five people are now hospitalized.
