The Logan County Health Department has reported five additional deaths this week due COVID-19.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the deaths of five men between the ages of 50 and 77 due to complications from coronavirus.
Since Friday, 186 new infections of the virus have been confirmed through laboratory testing. Today’s update from the health department included 21 new cases and 37 additional recoveries.
Logan has 256 active cases, 4,765 recoveries and 117 fatalities for a cumulative total of 5,138 cases of COVID-19
Thirty-one people remain hospitalized.
