The Logan County Health Department confirmed 6 cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.
As of 2 o’clock this afternoon, Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed 6 cases through laboratory testing.
Preliminary numbers from today's testing event at Peach Creek indicates over 70 tests were administered for the virus.
Browning said the department has been unsuccessful contacting two individuals discovered through contact tracing. It’s possible the contact information for the people is outdated or inaccurate. The department will continue attempts to contact the individuals.
Logan County has 70 active cases of the virus, 598 recoveries, 2 unreachable contacts and 43 fatalities for a cumulative total of 713 cases of coronavirus.
Six people are hospitalized.
