The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 263 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.
As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 4,612 active cases.
Currently, 391 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.
Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 4.21%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Wednesday morning, Mingo County is orange. “Orange” is the second most restrictive category.
Boone, Wayne and Wyoming counties are yellow.
Logan, Lincoln and McDowell counties are green.
Doddridge County is the only county in red.
West Virginia has 18,818 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
