Logan County Schools announced two additional cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
According to the official website for Logan County Schools, the additional cases are employees at Buffalo Elementary and Logan High School.
The new case is the second positive result to be reported at Buffalo Elementary.
Logan High School has reported three total positive tests for the virus. All three cases have not been in the building since before students began in-person classes.
Logan County Schools previously reported positive cases at Holden Elementary and Logan Middle School. Reportedly, the individual positive at Logan Middle was in the building. Moreover, a case was confirmed in electrical maintenance and the central office at West Logan.
One student tested positive for COVID-19 at Chapmanville Regional High School Thursday evening last week. The school transitioned to remote learning for classes on Friday.
