The Logan County Health Department confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
As of 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, 12 new cases of the virus have been confirmed through laboratory testing.
Health Department Director Steve Browning said 164 tests were administered during Wednesday's testing event at the former 84 Lumber building at Peach Creek. Moreover, free testing for the virus will conducted tomorrow at the same location between 1pm and 5pm.
Logan County has 87 active cases of the virus, 489 recoveries, and 39 fatalities for a cumulative total of 615 cases of coronavirus.
Twenty-one people are hospitalized.
