Logan & Lincoln "Gold", 3 Counties Remain in "Orange" & 1 County Red


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 483 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, West Virginia has 4,428 active cases.


Since the onset of the outbreak, 432 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Eight deaths have been reported in the last 24-hours.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 3.47%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Tuesday morning, Logan and Lincoln counties are in the “gold” category.


Boone, Mingo and Wayne counties continue to be in the orange.


McDowell County is green.


Wyoming is the only county in red.


West Virginia has 22,706 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
