Kenney scored on a 24-yard run and later scored on an 88-yard screen pass from Caleb Johnson as the Timberwolves improved to 4-0.

In what was believed to be the first ever meeting between undefeated teams in school history, Logan scored two first half touchdowns and led 14-0 at halftime.

Johnson started the scoring for Logan when he found Lucas Lambert for a 26-yard touchdown pass with 4:34 remaining in the opening quarter. Bentley Williamson hauled in the two-point conversion to give the Timberwolves an 8-0 lead.

In the fourth quarter, Johnson lofted a screen pass over an outstretched hand of a Chapmanville linemen and into the hands of Keeney, who took to the house 88-yards for his second touchdown of the game on a 3rd-and-18 play from the Logan 12-yard line.

Ethan Hensley added the two-point conversion and Logan led 22-8 with 4:30 to play.

Late in the fourth quarter, Logan’s Grayson Sanders was injured while making a tackle on Mattox Sartin after an 11-yard reception.

Sanders was taken by ambulance to a local medical facility and diagnosed with a concussion.

Once play resumed Chapmanville had a 1st-and-10 from the Logan 35, but four plays later, Brodee Belcher intercepted a Dalton pass in the end-zone to ice the game for the Timberwolves. For Belcher it was his second interception of the contest.
