Logan Native Wins Gold At 2021 W.Va. Senior Olympics


Native Logan countian Kelly Miller struck gold in the 2021 West Virginia Senior Olympics that took place at Laidley Field in Charleston WV.


Miller is 73 years old and has competed in the games for the past 11 years and has found success in running and long jumping.


Miller won gold this year in the 50-meter dash and triple jump competition and then added a silver medal in the 100-meter dash and long jump competition.


Miller grew up in Logan, has coached youth sports in Mingo County and now resides in Belo, WV. Miller says he plans to compete in the 2022 event as well.
