The Logan County Health Department reported an additional death and 38 new infections of COVID-19 Wednesday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 28-year-old male due to complications from coronavirus.
Since Friday, 171 new infections of the virus have been confirmed through laboratory testing. Moreover, the health department 309 recoveries Wednesday afternoon.
Logan has 388 active cases, 4,369 recoveries and 110 fatalities for a cumulative total of 4,867 cases of COVID-19
Thirty-one people are hospitalized.
