The Logan County Health Department reported an additional death due to COVID-19 Tuesday afternoon.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 73-year-old female due to complications associated with the coronavirus.
Five new infections were confirmed in the county through laboratory testing and six additional recoveries were also reported.
Logan County has 38 active cases, 2,947 recoveries and 87 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,072 cases of COVID-19.
Five people are hospitalized.
