The Logan County Health Department reported 9 cases of COVID-19 Wednesday evening.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed 9 new cases of the virus were discovered through laboratory testing.
New infection totals of coronavirus have been slowly decreasing. For the second time this week, active cases of the virus have dropped by over 50. An additional 65 recoveries were reported Wednesday.
Logan County has 247 active cases, 2,187 recoveries and 66 fatalities for a cumulative total of 2,500 cases of COVID-19.
Twenty-nine people remain hospitalized.
