Logan woman charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, child neglect



LOGAN A Logan County Woman is being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail on charges including delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and child neglect.


According to paperwork from the Logan County Magistrate’s Office, 44-year-old Mistie Nichole Brown, of Logan, arrested Wednesday, November first following the execution of a search warrant at a Dingess Street residence.


The warrant was obtained following an investigation conducted by the US 119 Drug Task Force. According to the criminal complaint, officers located two clear bags of a white powdery substance believed to be fentanyl. Police documented digital scales, torn pieces of aluminum foil, narcan and $200 cash. All the contraband and money found in a bedroom with brown, according to the criminal complaint.


The warrants cover four different occasions Brown allegedly engaged in delivery of a controlled substance on October eleventh, seventeenth, the twenty-sixth and on the eve of Halloween of the thirtieth.


She is charged with four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of child neglect and a single charge of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl.


Logan Magistrate Dwight Williamson set bond at $100,000 full cash or full surety.
