Logan Regional Medical Center is hosting Brake for Breakfast
in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
You will not have to leave your car for this drive-thru event.
Logan Regional Medical Center (LRMC) is offering treat bags,
consisting of a water and coffee cake muffin, as well as
giveaways, and a voucher for a mug if you schedule a
mammogram at LRMC between October 10 and the end of the
year.
WVOW's Aaron Stone spoke with Director of Radiology Chris
Reed and Marketing Coordinator Lara Sedlock of Logan
Regional Medical Center about their Brake for Breakfast events
in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sedlock
shared where she got the idea for the drive-thru.
“One of our sister hospitals in does this in Ohio, and I thought it
would maybe be a great opportunity to bring something like that
here,” said Sedlock. “And I don’t think it’s ever really been
done here before and I just thought it might be something fun,
new to try.”
The Brake for Breakfast event will take place the first week of
October as follows:
Tuesday, October 4 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Thornhill lot
across from Truist Bank in Logan.
