Deputies arrest a man for assault following an investigation in Whitman.
Logan County Deputies responded to a disturbance on Whitman Creek Road Saturday.
A victim reported hearing multiple gunshots. Allegedly, Charles Delbert Patterson, Jr. threatened to shoot the victim. Patterson, according to the complaint, admitted to being under the influence and became agitated while speaking with police.
Deputies also reported that Patterson claimed he would never be cuffed by the officers again. The defendant was arrested and charged with assault and assault of an officer.
