Man Rolls Past Buffalo 73-50 Sat. Night At King Coal Classic

Defending Class A State Champions the Man Hillbillies improved to 3-1 on the season with a win over the Buffalo Bison 73-50 in the nightcap of the King Coal Classic Saturday night .


Seniors Caleb Blevins and Trey Brown lit up Willie Akers Arena from downtown, as they combined to hit 11 of the teams 13 three-pointers on the evening with Blevins connecting on six and Brown hitting five for the night.


The Hillbillies trailed briefly in the first quarter but used their pressure defense to force over 20 Buffalo turnovers.


Man would lead by as much as 38 points in the second half before calling off the dogs and cruising their way to their fourth consecutive win over the Bison.


Blevins led all scorers with 29 points and Brown was right behind him with 21 points for the game.
