Man High School sophomore Morgan Cooper was named Class A First-Team All-State
In 140 innings, Cooper built quite the resume on the pitcher’s mound with 287 strike outs and 18 walks.
Junior Ashlee Tomblin was selected for Second-Team All-State. Tomblin earned 11 RBIs, four doubles and tied Cooper for most hits at 29.
Carlee Muncy and Jaklyn Barnett received Honorable Mentions.
Selections are determined by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
