RANGER Marshall Health Network and Edwards Cancer Institute will offer free oral

cancer screenings on Friday, May 29th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ranger Senior

Center in Ranger, West Virginia.

Screenings will take place on the Marco Mobile Medicine Unit. These screenings are open to individuals 20 and older, and they aim to promote early detection to significantly improve outcomes.

The detection of cancerous or pre-cancerous lesions in the mouth or throat can prevent spreading and make treatments less invasive, ultimately saving lives.

In its earliest stages, oral cancer can cause no pain or noticeable symptoms,

which makes screenings necessary and impactful.

All screenings are free and painless, taking around only five minutes.
