An elementary school in Mingo County received a big check from Governor Jim Justice last Friday.
Matewan PreK-8 was awarded the grand prize of $100,000 in the governor’s “Do it for Babydog: Round 3” vaccination sweepstakes.
Justice along with his English bulldog Babydog and Santa Clause congratulated the students and staff with a holiday party Friday.
