Mingo County Woman Faces Charges After Fatal Crash

A Mingo County woman faces a DUI causing death charge after a fatal crash on Route 52 near Williamson Monday.


Seanna Rose Starr, 21, of Delbarton is charged with DUI causing death, left of center and driving revoked DUI, according to a criminal complaint from Mingo County Magistrate Court.


On Monday night, officers responded to a head-on crash on Route 52 near Williamson and found a Chevrolet Tahoe that was determined to have been driving southbound and a Toyota Prius that was determined to have been traveling northbound.


The report indicates Starr was driving the Tahoe left of center. She also failed several field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol concentration level of .255. The legal BAC limit is .08.

Starr was then taken into custody.


Starr is being held at Southwestern Regional Jail on a $60,000 multiple 10% and surety bond.
