New cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Tuesday in Logan County.
The Logan County Health Department reported 7 new cases of the virus Tuesday afternoon.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the new cases are community spread from contact with positive cases.
Browning said some cases will soon be eligible for recovery status.
One active case reported in Logan Monday was removed because that person resides in Mingo County.
Logan County has 59 active cases of coronavirus, 51 recoveries and 1 fatality for a cumulative total of 111 cases confirmed.
Four people are hospitalized.
