One county red in W.Va. Tuesday


According to the county alert map released by the state Department of Health and Human Resources today, W.Va. has one red county.


Hardy County is the only red county in the state. Eight counties are orange including Logan and Lincoln counties. Six counties are yellow including Wayne County. Eight counties including Boone and Mingo are Gold. The 32 other counties are green.


An additional 341 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today by the DHHR.


West Virginia has 5,176 active cases of coronavirus.


Fifteen West Virginians have died in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the outbreak, 2,546 people in the Mountain State have succumbed to coronavirus.
