Since the onset of the outbreak, 682 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Fifteen deaths were reported in the last 24-hours.
West Virginia has 42,083 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
Today’s daily positive infection rate is 4.80%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released this morning, coalfields counties are in the yellow and orange category.
Boone, Mingo, Wayne and Wyoming counties are orange.
Logan, Lincoln and McDowell counties are yellow.
