The Public Employees Insurance Agency Finance Board on Tuesday will begin a series of public hearings regarding its proposal for the next fiscal year.
The agency is not proposing premium changes to any of its customers although it is evaluating online programs on weight loss and diabetes.
The plan will go into effect next July.
The first hearing will be a telephone town hall scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. People should call 304-410-0513 with the conference ID of 73421#.
Four more events are scheduled to take place this month:
— Nov. 12 at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center in Beckley. — Nov. 16 at the WVU Ericson Alumni Center in Morgantown. — Nov. 17 at the Culture Center in Charleston. — Nov. 18 at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.
Registration at each in-person event will begin at 5 p.m. with the public hearing scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required.
