A prominent pastor in Logan County recently passed away.
93-year-old Pastor Rocine Jackson died at home on January 20.
Pastor Jackson was a pioneer, as she was one of the first woman ministers in Logan County.
She was a pastor of the Whitman Original Glorious Church of God in Christ. Her church hosted live church services in the WVOW studios for several years in the 70s.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer. Her funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at Word of Life Church in Mud Fork.
Masks are required at each venue and temperatures will be taken.
