Rollover crash sends one to the hospital on Holden 22

A driver was extricated from a rollover crash late this morning on Holly Ridge Road in Holden. Cora and Verdunville VFD crews responded just after 11:30 AM and turned the patient over to Mingo County EMS. All units have cleared the scene.
A driver was extricated from a rollover crash late this morning on Holly Ridge Road in Holden. Cora and Verdunville VFD crews responded just after 11:30 AM and turned the patient over to Mingo County EMS. All units have cleared the scene.

HOLDEN There was a serious motor vehicle accident late Sunday morning in Mingo County.


The call come in just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Crews from the Cora and Verdunville Volunteer Fire Departments were requested by Mingo County to respond to a single-vehicle rollover on Holly Ridge Road, just off 22 Mine Road. According to Cora VFD, the crash involved one person who was trapped inside the vehicle.


First responders were able to extricate the driver and transfer care to Mingo County EMS.


The name and condition of the driver have not been released.
