School Delays in Logan, Mingo, Wyoming

Several counties have already announced school delays dur to anticipated snow in the early morning hours of Monday, January third.


Logan County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay due to anticipated inclement weather.


Mingo County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay due to anticipated snow accumulation in the early morning hours.


McDowell County Schools will operate on a 3-hour delay.


Wyoming County Schools will operate on a 3-hour delay due to weather predictions in the early morning hours.


Ranger elementary in Lincoln County will transition to remote learning due to a water outage.


A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 8 a.m. Monday.


Total snow accumulations of up to one inch expected, with locally 2 inches on the highest ridgetops in portions of eastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia


Traveling early Monday morning, motorists should plan for slippery road conditions for a few hours.
