Law enforcement agencies are searching for a missing man in Wyoming County.
The Pineville Police Department, along with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, are working together on the search for 50 year-old David McKinley Hess.
Pineville Police said Hess was reported missing by family members on June 11. Police were led to an abandoned mine in the Rock View/Skin Fork area of Wyoming County where Hess’ ATV was found.
A team from the West Virginia Office of Mine Safety and Training will be searching for Hess in the mine.
Hess is described as a white male with brown hair. He’s 5’6″ and weighs around 160 pounds.
