Shooting Leads to Arrests


A report of a shooting in Chapmanville last week led to arrests and charges for conspiracy and possession.

According to the criminal complaint, multiple suspects were developed through the course of investigation. Two of the suspects, Jordan Turner and Dylan Bledsoe, were located on Fowler Branch and detained.


Patrolman Ferrell alleged a third defendant, Francis Turner, was passed a bag and attempted to enter a vehicle. A pat down resulted in a 9mm handgun, 30 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine in the transferred bag and $3,200 cash. Digital scales were also found.

Jordan Turner was charged with possession with intent to deliver, prohibited person with a concealed firearm and conspiracy. Bail was set a $15,000.


Francis Turner and Dylan Bledsoe were charged with conspiracy. Bail was set at $10,000 for both.



All defendants have been released on bond.
