Six COVID-19-related deaths were reported in West Virginia on Sunday.
The new deaths include an 84-year old woman from Putnam County, a 71-year old woman from Kanawha County, an 84-year old man from Berkeley County, a 92-year old man from Wood County, a 71-year old man from Kanawha County and a 73-year old man from Boone County, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The state’s death toll during the pandemic is now 2,606.
Health officials also reported 348 new positive cases, raising West Virginia’s active total slightly to 5,514.
