Sobriety check point set for Thursday in Logan.

LOGAN The West Virginia State Police conducting a sobriety checkpoint Thursday evening in Logan.


The checkpoint will take place between eight o’clock Thursday night and two o’clock Friday morning on Route 73 in Logan.


According to a press release from the Logan Detachment of state police, an alternate checkpoint has been designated at Deskins’ Addition on Enterprise Drive and Route 10 in Logan.


The checkpoint’s primary focus is DUI enforcement, however police will be enforcing all driving infractions. Other enforcement activities may be conducted with police focusing on reckless driving, speeding, and seat belt violations.
