Sobriety checkpoint in Logan Thursday evening

LOGAN The West Virginia State Police conducting a sobriety checkpoint Thursday evening in Logan.

The checkpoint will take place between six o’clock and midnight Thursday evening on Route 73 in Logan.

According to a press release from the Logan Detachment of State Police, an alternate checkpoint has been designated at Deskins’ Addition.

The checkpoint’s primary focus is DUI enforcement, however police will be enforcing all driving infractions.
