Sobriety checkpoint planned in Logan Tuesday

State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint on WV 73 in Logan this Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6 p.m. to midnight. An alternate site is Enterprise Drive at Deskin’s Addition. Troopers will focus on DUI and other traffic violations.

The checkpoint will take place between six o’clock and midnight on WV 73 this Tuesday evening (11/4).

According to a press release from the Logan Detachment of State Police, an alternative checkpoint has been designated on Enterprise Drive at Deskin’s Addition.

The checkpoint’s primary focus is DUI enforcement, however police will be enforcing all driving infractions including: reckless driving, speeding, and seat belt violations.
