LOGAN Southern plans to host a Collegiate Recovery Day for 10am to 2pm on Wednesday, April 15th.

College officials say the event will celebrate “hope, healing, and the power of second chances with a day dedicated to recovery, wellness, and community connection.” Southern says the resources available there can prove useful for anyone who is in active addiction recovery, supporting someone who is, or anyone who is looking for a supportive space to learn, connect and grow in their community engagement.

The event will have resource tables and community partners on hand to answer any questions about recovery, Narcan education and harm reduction information, food, games and prizes.

In other news from Southern, students planning to graduate this semester have until this Wednesday to do their Graduation Check-Out. Students should see an advisor for an audit and to receive the graduation application link. If you need help, use the SSConnect feature through Southern’s website.
