WEST LOGAN A Logan County student is dead after he was hit by a vehicle at a bus stop.
The Logan County Sheriff’s office is investigating events that led to the death of a Logan County student in West Logan
Deputies say the call came in just before seven o’clock Friday morning September eighth.
Witnesses says the juvenile was going to the school bus when a vehicle turning onto Eleventh Street from Route 10 struck the male student. According to a press release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, the driver says they were unable to see the juvenile in the roadway.
The student was pronounced deceased upon arrival at Logan Regional Medical Center. The driver was transported to Boone Memorial.
Investigation is ongoing.
