Transformer Cause Of Power Outage In Boone County

A transformer blew in Boone County Wednesday night, leaving more than 1200 customers in the dark.

The outage was reported just after 9:30 p.m.

Most of Danville and parts of Madison were affected.

Power was restored before 6 a.m. Thursday.
