Boone County deputies said they arrested two men on Sunday night after finding shooting targets and other items from the sheriff’s office’s shooting range inside their pickup truck.
According to a press release, 28-year-old Darren Tyler Curry of Turtle Creek and 27-year-old Dennis Lee Eldridge of Danville have each been charged with petit larceny, conspiracy and trespassing.
Deputies said they were on routine patrols Sunday in Danville when they saw a pickup truck as a local gas station loaded with shooting targets and other items that were stolen from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office shooting range in the Hobet area.
Both men are currently being held at Southwestern Regional Jail each on a $600 cash bond.
