Two flown to hospital in Logan County after rollover crash

Sheriff’s deputies say two people were hospitalized in Logan County following a single-vehicle rollover.

VERNER According to Chief Deputy Michael Lafauci, the accident happened Thursday near the Verner area along Route 80. A police report says a man and a woman were traveling toward Gilbert when their vehicle veered into a ditch, causing the car to overturn. The victims were trapped in the wreck, and it’s believed that they were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.


Rescue crews were able to extricate the couple from the wreckage. They were airlifted to Logan Regional Medical Center.


The conditions of the two victims are unknown as of press time.
