On Thursday, two McDowell County schools confirmed COVID-19 cases on campus.
Sandy River Middle School reported one case of COVID-19.
Iager Elementary School also confirmed one case of COVID-19.
Sandy River Middle School will switch over to remote learning until after Thanksgiving Break.
Iager Elementary will have in-person learning after a deep-cleaning of the school.
