W.Va. Medical Cannabis Board Discuss Allowing Patients To Grow Their Own

The West Virginia Medical Cannabis Advisory Board considered permitting eligible West Virginians to grow their own plants for medical purposes.

Board members discussed the possibility of patients growing their own marijuana during a virtual meeting last week.

Governor Justice signed the medical marijuana law four years ago to allow for treatment of certain medical conditions. Patient registration for the law has been open since February.

No action was taken during the virtual meeting.
