CHARLESTON The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protections inviting photographers to submit entries for the 23rd Annual "Roadsides in Bloom" calendar contest.


Sponsored by the Adopt-A-Highway program, the contest highlights beautiful wildflowers growing along state roadways.


To enter, submit your high-resolution, landscape-oriented photos taken in West Virginia by September 19, 2025. Each entry must feature wildflowers along a visible roadway. You can submit up to three photos, but only one will be selected as a winner. Twelve winners will be chosen, with one grand-prize winner featured on the cover of the calendar.
