SOUTH CHARLESTON The West Virginia Association of School Administrators is launching a new statewide initiative aimed at highlighting the impact of public education across the Mountain State.

The "I Love WV Public Schools" campaign will officially be announced Tuesday morning at Hoover High School, where members of the association's executive committee will outline the goals of the effort.

Organizers say the campaign is designed to recognize the students, educators, school employees, families and communities that make public schools a cornerstone of West Virginia. They say public schools are more than places of learning. They serve as community hubs that foster opportunity, support and local pride.

The initiative will spotlight success stories from classrooms across the state, including outstanding teachers, dedicated staff, student achievements and partnerships that strengthen communities while reinforcing the value of public education.
