A woman was arrested Friday for breaking into residences.
Logan County Deputies arrested thirty-five-year-old Joanie Sturgell for allegedly entering four homes, screaming and announcing people were trying to kill her. She was apprehended at the fourth residence located on Isom Branch Road.
According to deputies, Sturgell kicked at the windows of a police cruiser while in route to Southwestern Regional Jail. She eventually dislodged and broke the cruiser’s third brake light.
She is charged with burglary destruction of property, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
